The Catalina 250 MKII wing keel model offers the increased stability and tracking afforded by a lead keel. Removal of the centerboard trunk allows 5 additional inches of headroom in the cabin.

Design
The Catalina 250 incorporates the best features of a trailerable, water ballast boat with Catalina's renowned comfortable interior and big-boat cockpit. The Catalina Design Team increased the interior space by widening the coachroof to the gunwales. The transom curves to the waterline from the deck, promoting a fluid profile and concealing a convenient walk through transom.

Performance
The Catalina 250 is easy to sail and easy to manage. Once underway, the gentle motion and sure-footed tracking give the impression of a much larger vessel. Steering is easy and the helm is very responsive. The boat balances well which makes for a comfortable sailer with a well-thought-out and carefully executed interior.

Quality hardware and finish are some of the features that make the 250 the leader in her class. First-class hardware, anodized spars, and precision molded dagger boards add to the lasting quality. Catalina provides five year gel-coat blister protection as well as five year hull structure warranty.
