5/10/08: The docks are ready! Thanks to some great weather, the docks are in and ready for your boat. WBBW's ramp will be open for launching before 9:00 am and after 6:00 pm on weekdays, before 9:00 am and after 4:00 pm on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays.

Set Sail for a Cure!
Sept. 12, 13 & 14, docked at White Bear Boat Works & Marina; co-hosted by Black Bear Yacht Racing Association and White Bear Yacht Club.

This year's sailors will raise funds and awareness in honor of Honored Crew Isaac Colby of South Saint Paul as well as Honored Skipper Scott Nocton of Fridley.

Learn to Sail

Sailing Lessons are a great way to get started
or to improve your boat handling skills. This is a fantastic family sport that you can participate in your whole life.

Sail Away Sailing School offers a 12-hour learn-to-sail course that will give you the skills and confidence to start sailing right! Aboard a Capri 22, you'll learn how to get underway, tack, jibe, perform a crew-overboard recovery. You will also learn outboard motor operation, points of sail, knots, and how to reef your sail. Successful completion of the course earns you Basic Keelboat certification. Private lessons also available.
